One parenting advice site has a New Year treat for mums and dads
With the New Year officially here, parents all over the country are trying to find ways to cut costs. And if there’s one surefire way to save yourself a few quid, it’s getting some free nappies.
Parenting website Emma’s Diary is giving away the very handy freebie right now to all mums and dads across Britain that sign up to the website.
When you sign up (it’s free to join), you’ll be gifted a voucher for a free ‘Bump to Baby’ gift pack – which, as well as an array of parenting samples and shopping vouchers, now also includes a full 22 pack of Pampers nappies.
You’ll be able to collect the freebie from week 27 of your pregnancy, and while it is free, you’ll need to collect it from a Boots or Argos.
We tested it ourselves to check it worked and voilà, once we gave them our email we were presented with a voucher for a free pack of Pampers, plus a few other bonus gifts like £200 Argos vouchers and a free photo book. Not bad…
Other ways to find cheap nappies
If you’ve already claimed your freebie, there’s still plenty of other nappy bargains up for grabs. For example, members of discount forum HotUKDeals noticed that Asda are currently selling their 24-pack of Little Angels nappies for £1 – but only in sizes 0 and 1.
Asda’s 70 pack of the same nappies also seem shockingly cheap, currently retailing at £2.77 for the huge set online.
The amusingly named BumDeal App lets you find the cheapest nappy in the size and brand you need, and you can search by brand too.
It seems the cheapest possible nappies you can get you hands on right now are Asda’s 84 pack of Little Angels nappies, which work out at 6p per nappy.
It’s also worth signing up to every major brand’s newsletters to stay up-to-date with their latest offers, with many retailers hosting regular seasonal baby sale events – Aldi have just unveiled theirs!
We suggest Boots (whose Pampers are currently on five for £25 ), Superdrug, Asda, Tesco,Morrisons and also Groupon, who often offer bulk deals on the baby essential.
